Used Containers for Sale

Used stock is priced by grade, not by age. A twelve-year-old box that has been kept dry and loaded carefully is worth more than a five-year-old unit with a soft floor, so every Swaans unit is inspected and photographed before it is offered. If finish or a fresh five-year CSC plate matters more than price, compare new containers for sale.

Cargo-worthy (CW)

Structurally sound and surveyed against the CSC criteria, so it can be re-plated and shipped internationally. Cosmetic dents and patch repairs are normal.

Wind and watertight (WWT)

No daylight, no leaks, sound floor and working doors, but not surveyed for ocean carriage. The usual choice for site storage and conversions.

As-is / repair grade

Sold on a described-fault basis — floor damage, corrosion or door damage stated up front. Cheapest per square metre if you can do the repair.
